Weekly Favorites!!!!

This week favorites goes to these lovely products. Thank you for making this week a little less complicated!!

Silk Elements Heat Protection Creme

Early this week I straightened my hair and this product was useful for the blow drying and straightening part of my hair styling. There's no heat damage here.

Olay Fresh Effects 

I brought these because they were on sale ($2.50) at Walmart, later that night I used one and to my surprise these are exfoliating wet clothes. However, on the other side is a smooth surface for a gentle clean. Two for one deal, I think yes.  

Flower Nail Polish

I also brought this nail polish at Walmart because I was on sale($2.00).. I have a lot of dark nail polishes so I thought I should try out a lighter color. I am in love with this nail polish it's called Fanatical Bontanical. To me the color resembles a Rose Gold color. 

Flower Perfume

I brought this perfume after Christmas because guess what??? It was on sale (5.00). It came in those holiday box set with a lipstick and a nail polish (I gave those two to my friend) but I kept the perfume. It's called Cherished. I loved the smell of it it's so light and airy (if that makes sense). If you love Victoria's Secret "Lovely" then you will love this sent too.  

City Color & Wet'N'Wild Lipstick

I mentioned in another weekly favorite post how I love the Wet 'N' Wild lipstick in the color  

Mocha-licious but now I love it in a combination with the City Color lipstick in the color Spice.

Spice is a summer lipstick but with a light layer of Mocha-licious it can be worn in the winter,

#FOTD #Redlips

#MakeupMonday

Hello everybody and Happy Monday. January is half way done and I need to get rolling on this blog!!! So today I am sharing with you all the two lippies I have been loving for this month. I say lippies because 1 is a matte lipstick and the other is a semi-matte lip gloss. 

 

This matte lipstick by Hikari has got to be my favorite red lipstick thus far. I receive this lipstick from Lip Monthly for the month of November. Ever since then whenever I wanted a red lip look I would always choose this lipstick. I have featured this lipstick in a couple videos on my youtube channel ( FOTD & Beauty Fav) check those out for more details.  

Now this semi-matte lip gloss by Magnolia I received from Lip Monthly as well in my December bag, I call this a semi-matte lip gloss because it starts off glossy but as time goes it becomes matte. I would recommend that you put moisturizer on your lips before because it can leave your lips dry. But other then that I love the settle color and it lasts for a long time too.

Top 20 2015 New Year Resolutions

New Year Resolutions Time!!!

Yes it is that time of the year where people make goals for themselves to accomplish throughout the year. However, the goals we set for ourselves doesn't always fall through. We either get distracted or we give up and say maybe next year. I have done that numerous of times. But not this year. I realize that the goal I gave up on weren't realistic goals. Now that I'm older I feel I can I can reach any realistic goals or resolutions that I give myself. I want to share with you all the goals that I set for myself in the year 2015.

(These are in no particular order)

1. Reach at least 100 subscribers on my YT channel
2. Get an apartment
3. Fix my debt
4. Lose 30lbs
5. Go to an event (concert, festival etc.)
6. Go to the gym at least twice a week ( helps with #4)
7. Be more outgoing ( goes with the 5)
8. Put a lot more effort into my blog
9. Network, Network, Network ( goes with the 7)
10. Get organized and stay organized
11. Read more (Books, Blogs, Magazines etc.)
12. Stay current with trends ( fashion, hair, makeup) 
13. Be more positive 
14. Enjoy life ( goes with 13)
15. Elevate my style 
16. Learn more sewing techniques 
17. Learn an instrument
18. Take an improve class (goes with 7)
19. Visit a different state
20. Make new friends (goes with 7) 

I made these resolutions based on the things I didn't like about my life in 2014. We should always strive to be better people and that's what our new year resolutions should be based on. It shouldn't be about materialistic things and unrealistic dreams.  I believe I can reach my goals for 2015. I will document every journey of it. Welcome to Melanie's Page!!
